6 Dead People Who Had It Coming
Category:
A little while back someone that was once close to me said that I needed to write a self help book. She said this because I think that people are looking for something to get them through their hard times in life. These are just a few simple ideas that can help you in life and if you apply them, life will be a little easier.
1. Surround yourself with good people- People that will challenge you to be a better person. People that will look out for you when you need help and people that will hold you accountable and that will be there when you need them. People that are going to be there even in the darkest times.
2. Do what you love - Find a career that you truly enjoy and can see yourself working at for the rest of your life. Turn your passion into something that you can share with others and that will benefit society. It will take hard work and dedication, but if you apply yourself to this passion, then you will find that you enjoy your career.
3. Take a vacation - You are given vacation days for a reason, to take a vacation. Working yourself to death and not spending enough time with your family and friends is not what to do. Instead of working year after year, wishing you could take a vacation, go ahead and put in for those days off. Recharge your batteries and refresh you body and mind.
4. Save your money - When you get a paycheck, that doesn't mean you have to spend every penny of it. Open up a savings account and start putting back a little bit each month. After a while, you will see that the money has added up to a larger amount. Eventually, you will be sitting pretty and will be able to do something nice for yourself or others.
5. Believe in something - Find something in your life that is bigger that you. Something that you can put your faith into. Something that will get you through those tough times in life when you need it. Something that gives you peace in your life and something that gives you hope.
6. Find someone to love - I've heard it said that life is a little sweeter when you have someone to share it with. I feel that people are born looking for the accpetance and love of another person. While we may go through some bad people when we are looking for love, I know that there is someone out there waiting to experience love that is everlasting.
So I am sitting here doing a little paperwork and I am listening to the radio on the TV here. Well a few minutes ago the Gordon Lightfoot song "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" came on. That song is probably one of the top 10 songs about death, since it is about a famous shipwreck (look it up if you have never heard about it, use wikipedia or something). Anyway it was followed up with the Beach Boys song "Kokomo".
Huh, so tell me, I just listened to a song about the deaths and mourning of 29 men and now I am suppost to be enjoying taking a trip to a made up place somewhere near the Florida Keys? They could have named after something other than a town in Indiana (and last time I checked, Indiana isn't near the ocean and pretty much sucks).
I don't know who is planning what is played, but they could use a lession in what songs to play close to each other. Oh and now I am hearing "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" from The Lion King. I totally need to get back to what I was doing.
So how about the trainer killed at Sea World today? Crazy or just a matter of time before it happened. I was looking at some message boards about Orlando and people were going nuts about how the trainers and animals have a special relationship. How about these are wild animals that we think are tame. Its kind of like what happened to Sigfried and Roy, you put your head in a tigers mouth too many times, eventually it's going to take a bite. Crazy world....
